Privacy Policy

TapSleep does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The app functions entirely on-device.

The only data stored by TapSleep is your personal preferences (edge panel position, side preference, and button colour), saved locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.

TapSleep uses Android's Accessibility Service solely to turn off the screen — the same way the physical power button does. This allows the screen to lock while keeping biometric unlock (fingerprint / face) available when you wake the phone.

The Accessibility Service:

• Does NOT read, collect, or transmit any screen content.
• Does NOT record keystrokes or any user input.
• Does NOT access any personal data from other apps.
• Performs only one action: locking the screen when you tap the TapSleep button.

TapSleep uses the "Draw over other apps" permission to display the edge panel on top of other apps and the home screen. This permission is used only to show the TapSleep panel UI — the app does not observe, capture, or interact with any content displayed by other apps.

TapSleep uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalised ads. This may include:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location
• App interaction data

You can opt out of personalised ads at any time through your device settings:

TapSleep uses Google Play's In-App Review and In-App Update APIs. These services are provided by Google and operate under Google's Privacy Policy. No personal data is collected or shared by Digital Nomads PK through these features.

TapSleep integrates the following third-party SDKs:

• Google AdMob — Advertising
• Google Play Core — In-App Review and In-App Updates

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

TapSleep is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be made available within the app and on the Google Play Store listing. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
